El Petit Palauet

El Petit Palauet is a retreat, where visitor’s can enjoy their stay in a unique and delightful atmosphere, taking advantage of all the cultural and leisure activities the region has to enjoy!

The building itself is an enchanting modernist building, built early in the 20th century by catalan architect Pere Domènech i Roura a son of the brilliant modernist architect Domenech i Muntaner, whose works include such famous sights as the Palau de la Música and “La Casa de les Punxes” in Barcelona. El Petit Palauet is in a prime location set in the heart of the old town of Canet de Mar and a stone’s throw from a wide sandy beach.

Following a thorough restoration, el Petit Palauet opened in July 2009. Every detail of the interior was designed with utmost care by the interior designer Julia Skovpen, who ensured the charm and spirit of the house was upheld with the golden age it was built in, to highlight such features as its magnificent floors, woodwork, hand-painted ceilings, and vintage wall tiles.

El Petit Palauet has SIX LARGE LUXURY SUITES each with their own name and style, preserving the artistic features of the modernist period reflected in the colours and materials, all exquisitely decorated with a personal touch. Furnished with period pieces and ensuite, with a sitting room area, air conditioning, TV, small kitchenette.

Each Suite can accommodate two people (plus a child up to 6 years old). The house also boasts outdoor facilities such as a terrace, sun deck and a beautiful garden.
